ChemBioFinder Database on simple and common compounds free of charge by Cambridge Soft, Chemdraw's producer. The database provides synonyms, structures, physical properties. By means of a plugin, Chemdraw Tools, you can make a structure search
For using SciFinder web version, registration at CAS is necessary. Registration is possible in the IP range of TU Dortmund only. In case of an error message, cancel cookies and start procedure again.
For registration you need a TU Dortmund e-mail address. Your user-name must be composed of 5 to 15 signs (no numerals).Password must be composed of 7 to 15 signs and must comprise at least 3 of the following type of signs:
letters
mixed capital and small letters
numerals
special characters (fx. @, %, &, *, #)
After your registration you will obtain a confirmation mail. To verify registration you must click the link sent with the mail. Registration and verification have to be completed within 48 hours from the same PC. After this you can access your SciFinder account from every PC within TU Dortmund IP range.
For using all functionalities of SciFinder, Java plugin 1.6 is necessary.
