Information Skills Training - Specialised Research

Classes by arrangement: Please write an email and specify your major field of study. Minimum number of participants: five.

Location: Training classroom - Central Library, second floor

Part I: Basics: regional and international catalogues, interlibrary loan, electronic journals (EZB), serials database (ZDB) etc. Part II: Research databases in Mathematics, Statistics (Article search, bibliographic research, electronic full texts): Zentralblatt Mathematik, MathSciNet, MathEduc etc. Part II: Research databases in Music (Article search, bibliographic research, electronic full texts): RILM, Academic Search Premier etc. Compact course: You get important information about literature research in a nutshell. It is recommended to take the more detailed courses Part I and II. You can book only part II if you have advanced knowledge, esp. about the topics of part I.
